Why Tulips Read Differently

Tulips are the least fussy flower we stock, and that is exactly their appeal. No ruffles, no heavy scent, no filler doing the work. A tulip bouquet is a clean line and a colour, and it suits people who find roses a bit much.

They also behave unlike anything else in the vase. Tulips keep growing after they are cut, up to an inch or two, and they bend towards the light. A tulip arrangement you set down on Monday will have rearranged itself by Wednesday. Some people find that maddening. Most find it the best thing about them.

The Tulip Bouquets We Stock

Ivory Tulips

Pure white tulips wrapped in ivory tweed. The most understated thing on our shelf, and the one we send most often to someone who has just moved house or come out of hospital. Nothing about it demands attention.

Blush Tulip

Pink tulips finished with ivory tones and delicate pink bows. Warmer than the ivory, and the safer choice when you are not sure whether white will read as too formal.

Tulip Serenity

Pink and white tulips with fountain grass, wrapped in airy white layers. The fullest of the three, and the one that photographs best. This is the anniversary and proposal option.

Tulips and Pet Safety

Tulips are toxic to cats and dogs. They contain alkaloids concentrated most heavily in the bulb, but the petals and stems carry enough to cause vomiting, drooling and stomach upset if chewed. We still send them to homes with pets, but keep the vase somewhere a cat cannot reach, and pick something else if you have a determined chewer. Our pet-safe flowers guide lists what is genuinely safe, with rose bouquets and sunflower bouquets the two ranges we stock from that list.

When Tulips Are the Right Call

Birthdays

A tulip bouquet suits a birthday where you want to avoid the standard red-rose signal. It reads as considered rather than romantic, which makes it safe for colleagues, friends and family alike. See our birthday flowers for the full range.

Anniversaries

Tulips carry a quieter kind of declaration than roses. In the Victorian language of flowers they mean perfect love, and pink tulips in particular signal care and affection. Our anniversary flowers page covers what to send by year.

Love and Proposals

Tulip Serenity is the arrangement we recommend when someone wants something romantic that is not a dozen red roses. Browse Valentine's Day flowers and proposal flowers for the occasions this suits best.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a tulip bouquet cost in Singapore? +

Our tulip bouquets start at $98 and run to $148 depending on stem count and wrapping. Every one includes gift wrapping and a free personalised message card, and delivery is a flat $15 island-wide.

Can I get tulips delivered the same day in Singapore? +

Yes. Order before 2 PM and we deliver the same day anywhere in Singapore. Tulips are stocked fresh rather than made to order, so same-day is genuinely available rather than a best effort.

How long do tulips last? +

Five to seven days in Singapore conditions, which is shorter than carnations or lilies. Cold water, a narrow vase and distance from the fruit bowl are what make the difference. Air conditioning extends them noticeably.

Are tulips available all year round in Singapore? +

Tulips are imported, so availability moves with the growing season and the shipping schedule. We hold stock most of the year, but the range narrows around peak periods. Order a day or two ahead if a specific colour matters.

Do tulips really keep growing after they are cut? +

They do, by an inch or two, and they bend towards the nearest light source. This is normal and a sign the stems are still healthy. Turn the vase each day if you want them to stay even.
