Flower Care Tips Singapore
Keep your flowers fresh and blooming longer with these simple steps
Quick Care
Change water daily, add flower food, trim a little, keep cool, remove wilted leaves.
Simple Care Guide
We've pre-trimmed and cleaned your blooms—just do these simple steps to keep them fresh.
1. Change water daily (or at least every 2 days)
Fill your vase with fresh, clean room-temperature water.
Add the flower food provided (½ the packet each refill works well).
Rinse the vase before refilling to remove bacteria build-up.
2. Give the stems a small trim
Every 2 days, trim ½ inch off the stem bottoms at a 45° angle.
This helps them absorb water better and stay perky longer.

3. Keep flowers cool & shaded
Avoid direct sunlight, heat, and air-con vents.
A cool, airy spot is ideal — flowers last longer in gentle indoor light.
4. Remove wilted blooms & leaves
Remove any wilted petals or leaves sitting below the waterline.
This keeps the water clean and prevents bacteria growth.
5. Singapore climate tip
Hot day? Change water daily. Air-con room helps flowers last longer.

Pro Tips from CocoFlora
No flower food? Try a simple DIY mix
1 litre water + 2 tbsp lemon juice/white vinegar + 1 tbsp sugar + 1–2 drops bleach.
Use only if you run out of our sachet.
Ice Water Trick
On very hot Singapore days, add a few ice cubes to the vase! Cold water slows bacterial growth and keeps flowers perky.
Air-con timing
Turn on air-con at night for your flowers! Cool temperatures extend flower life significantly. Just avoid direct cold airflow.
